AV uses the following ranks.  Please note that since we are a dual-team Clan, it is possible to have one Rank in CTF and another in TW.

Dizzy is Leader of AVTW, Colwell is Leader of AVRS.

Anyone that can approve a CW.  We don't have any limit on Captains.  Pretty much anyone that demonstrates clan loyalty, better than average game skills, interest in developing the clan, high level of activity, and want to be active in arranging scrims with other clans, can be a Captain.  Captains should also be capable server admins and active in this forums.  When arranging a CW, the Captain is making the judgment based on the skills of his available teammates at that time.  The Captain should make the call as to who will play and, regardless of people's eagerness to play, should use ONLY the very best players available to him for that match.  They should also pick the maps and strategies to be used, again using their best judgment to get a win.  Captains are mods on the forums and have moderate level of admin powers on the server.

The basic rank in AV.  Soldiers may participate in CW's.  They receive basic admin controls over the Hizzle.

At this time, AV is no longer accepting Trainees 'off the street'.  But if you have a friend or a little brother that is new to soldat, we can and will accept him into the clan as a Trainee.  Or if you are wanting to fight for both teams, but need practice in your secondary team before we can really rely on you.  We have, can and will develop specific training programs to build you up to Soldier status.  Trainees may not be used in CW's.  Also we expect a very high level of activity (ie showing up for Practices) and a very high level of respect for Captains and Leaders, from Trainees.

This rank accords no extra powers or responsibilities.  It is simply a mark of respect conveyed upon Soldiers that have personally achieved greatness at the exact moment that we needed them, to achieve a CW win.  Veterans may and probably should be chosen over Soldiers, for CWs.
